TLC Academy is currently enrolling for the 2009-2010 school year.  Applications will be processed in the order they are received.  We will continue to accept applications until our programs fill.  If the particular class you have requested is full you may submit your application and we will place you on the waitlist. 

To register:

1. Call to schedule a personal tour.

2. Complete the following forms from the admission packet:

• Immunization (records must be transferred to the provided form, REQUIRED for all new students or returning students with updates)

  • Immunization Exemption (required with immunization form if claiming personal or medical exemption)

• Consent for Treatment/Yearly Field Trip Form

• Emergency Contact/Pick-up Authorization Form

• Records Release Form (new students only)

3. The following fees are due at the time of registration:

• $245.00 registration/materials fee: Non-Refundable
• Last month tuition (June): Refer to the Parent/School Contract for refund policy

4. Applications are not considered for enrollment until all registration paperwork is submitted with the required fees.  Date and time of placement will be based on when the completed packet and fees are submitted.

5. You will receive a phone call/letter in the mail confirming your child's placement. A phone call will made if the program you have selected is full.

Toddler Program (18 months-36 months): Children must be 18 months old by the first day of class to be eligible for fall enrollment.  We do have a grace period, which allows children to start class up to four weeks prior to 18 months of age.  If your child will not be within four weeks of turning 18 months at the beginning of the school year they are not eligible for September enrollment.  As long as space permits, we accept mid-year registration.

If you are enrolling your child for the toddler class, but wish to move them to a primary program mid year once they are age appropriate it is your responsibility to place your child on the primary program’s waitlist.  It is recommended that you do so at the time of registration.

Primary Program (3–5 years): Children must be three years old and completely toilet trained by the first day of class to be eligible for fall enrollment.  We do have a grace period, which allows children to start class up to six weeks prior to their third birthday if they are completely toilet trained.  If your child will not be of age by October 15th they are not eligible for September enrollment.  As long as space permits, we accept mid-year registration.

Kindergarten (5-6 years): Children must be five years old by August 31 to be eligible for the kindergarten program.  If your child is not age appropriate they can be admitted if they pass early entrance testing.  Early entrance testing is available through the public school district as well as through private testers.  Children who are early entrance testing must complete the testing prior to the first day of class and enter into the program on the first day of class.  Children who are not age appropriate by August 31 will not be admitted into the program once the school year has started.

2010-2011 Registration:

TLC Academy's in-house enrollment begins January 4^th, 2010.  Current families will be given priority registration through January 11^th.  Applications will be processed in the order they are received.  Please note that placement in your current class is not guaranteed.

Open enrollment begins January 12^th.  Once open enrollment begins current families are no longer given priority registration.  Applications will be processed in the order they are received.  We will continue to accept applications until our programs fill.  If the particular class you have requested is full you may submit your application and we will place you on the waitlist.  An application MUST be submitted to place a child on the waitlist.

New families are welcome to submit their 2010-2011 registration paperwork with a check post-dated for January 12, 2010 before Open Enrollment begins.  All early applications/fees will be time and date stamped and held until Open Enrollment.  Once Open Enrollment begins early applications will be placed first in the order they were received.

If an applicant wishes to withdraw their application they can do so at any time prior to Open Enrollment.  It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact the school to withdraw their application.  Once Open Enrollment has begun the withdrawal policy detailed in the Parent Contract applies.
