TLC Academy's philosophy is to develop the whole child. Our programs offer a variety of daily activities to promote growth in the areas of academic, physical, social and emotional development.  We offer primary and Kindergarten education in a safe, loving environment based on the Montessori Philosophy embracing a multicultural prospective. The academic and behavior standards are high giving your child the opportunity to learn, grow and be successful. Our enriched curriculum incorporates additional classes that your child will participate in such as Movement, Foreign Language and Arts providing opportunity for social and emotional growth.

TLC History

TLC Academy is Sammamish Plateau's Premier Montessori School for children ages 18 months-6 years. Children have learned here since 1981. Early Childhood Specialist, Janet Bequette is Founder and Director of TLC. Jan has had a lifelong interest in teaching. She became a Montessori advocate when her own preschool son experienced a Montessori education. "It was wonderful to see multi-age children interact and thrive in a non-competitive learning environment."

All TLC teachers have Montessori certifications and/or are Washington State Elementary School Certified. TLC Academy is licensed by the State of Washington and the Washington State Board of Education.
